Born in San Francisco, and raised out in the East Bay. I grew up an avid BMX Racer, starting work at Dublin Cyclery when I was 14 years old. That led to Skateboarding when we brought skateboards into the bike shop in the early 80’s. I finally got into Surfing during my first attempt at College at San Diego State University. I ended up working Bike and Outdoor Specialty Retail for about 14 years. After finishing college up at Humboldt State University, I took a job with Yakima Car Racks as a Dealer Service Representative in house. That led to me becoming an outside rep for Yakima for many years. Thule brought us on in May of 2005. I’ve been on the road selling car racks for a little over 20 years now. I love our territory, and our mix of brands; each brand takes us into multiple retail channels.
Skating and surfing are still what I like to go do if I get time for myself. I spend most of my time with my family or behind the wheel of my truck. My wife and I have four kids, so family and work keeps me pretty busy.

I was born and raised in the heart of Northern California. I am proud to be a Sonoma county native and now live there with my wife. Despite the traffic and occasional earthquake, I could not imagine calling anywhere else “Home”.
Since I can remember I always had a passion for bikes, from jumping sketchy ramps with my friends in grade school, BMX racing through middle school, to finally getting my professional l DownHill and Slalom license at 19. I grew up less than a mile from Annadel State park and since I can remember I have always wanted to be outside as opposed to video games. Growing up so close to Annadal only fueled my passion for adventure and the outdoors. I worked in local Sonoma County bike shops through out high school and after before moving on to CamelBak. At CamelBak I worked as the in-house International Sales representative for over 6 six years before getting out on the road with the NorthenMark team.
BARRETT YOUNG - SALES REP

I grew up in Alaska, until my family moved down to Reno in 1999 and I eventually graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2008. I have worked in Retail Specialty shops that focus in running, kayak, ski and backcountry in both Nevada and California. I worked for Patagonia for seven years starting in customer service, moving to dealer services, and eventually on the road as an associate sales rep. Skiing and biking are my two greatest joys in life, with trail running filling in the gaps.
Through skiing I have seen the wildest mountains, and even met my wife. Mountain Biking has always provided the summer stoke, which seems to grow larger and scarier every year.
Proud to be joining the Northernmark crew, representing great brands and working with the great shops that service the Sierra and Foothills.

Born in Washington state but my heart is in Lake Tahoe,
I came to Northernmark after many years as a retail buyer from a great little bike and ski shop in South Lake Tahoe that I was employed at for over 25 years. I am the mother to three very active and outdoorsy kids from 19-27. Trail Running, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, paddleboarding, tennis and boating are some of my passions. I have run several 5k's, 10K's and a half marathon and plan on doing more. (Running makes me a nicer person.)
I love representing the three amazing brands that Northernmark supports through N. California and N. Nevada. Thule, Camelbak and Santa Cruz Bikes are brands that have been a part of my families lives for a very long time so it is an honor to work with such amazing companies.
